Liberal MP Mauril Belanger is putting a private members bill through the house asking for an amemendment to the National Anthem from “All our sons command” to “All of us command.” CUSJ adds a request for a Theologically Neutral National Anthem as well by returning to the original wording. This is especially appropriate given the recent Supreme Court decision recommending there be no prayers in public meetings in a population where 24% are either atheist or agnostic.
