FYI: Here is a report from chapter member Sheila Laursen about the Lakeshore UU congregation’s adventure in Syrian refugee sponsorship, which began in 2016. The Unitarian Church of Montréal also sponsored two Syrian families: One arrived in 2016, and is now settled, while the final two members of the second family arrived at last in April 2016. Congratulations to all the caring and hard-working people on the refugee sponsorship committees!

CUSJ Toronto First Chapter is one of a number of Affiliate Groups and projects, including Amnesty International, Aboriginal Awareness Group, Central America Project, Green Sanctuary Group, Refugee Family Sponsorship, the UUWomen’s Association and the UU-UNO Office.
West Coast Regional Chapter
