The Campaign for a Youth Climate Corps

Juan is the Prairie organizer with the Climate Emergency Unit, based in Edmonton, on Treaty 6 territory. As a first-generation settler from Colombia, Juan’s working class upbringing deeply informs his organizing. He’s driven by people power and by the vision of building Alberta-based climate movements. (This summer, he hopes to get more opportunities to birdwatch and bike!)
