How sad that the BC Ballet chose to support Israeli war crimes and apartheid, by performing as a Canadian cultural ambassador to the Zionist Israeli state in January 2019. The Canadian BDS Coalition, of which CUSJ is a member, has decided that, since B.C. Ballet will not boycott Israel, we will boycott BC Ballet.
BC Ballet will be dancing in Toronto on March 29-30, 2019 at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, Bluma Appel Theatre, Toronto. Please boycott this event.
Your actions might make BC Ballet realize that their action did not go unnoticed. Over 10,000 people signed a petition asking BC Ballet not to perform in Israel, since the Israeli government has plans to demolish the Palestinian village of Khan al-Ahmar in the occupied West Bank, and continues to harass and kill Palestinians in Gaza.
