Can I watch the live stream?
In short, yes! If you can watch a YouTube video you can watch the live stream. The live stream will be viewable on any desktop or laptop with any web browser. If you are on a mobile device (tablet, ipad, iphone, android device etc.) just make sure you are using the official youtube app.

Can I participate in the chat and vote?
Yes, all you need is to be able to sign in. For that you will need a Google account or Gmail address. If you don’t already have a Google/gmail account you can make one HERE.
On the day of the AGM, click the link to go the live stream. There will be a link at the bottom of the chat area to ‘sign in’. If you are on a mobile device you may need to sign in through your YouTube app. This varies app to app.
VOTING WILL HAPPEN BETWEEN 10 – 11 AM EASTERN.
However, if you want to vote, it would be appreciated if you would sign in to the chat by 9:45 am Eastern to give us time to record your presence and confirm your eligibility to vote.
On-line participants can vote if they have renewed their membership for 2015/16 by May 17 at 6:00 pm EDT. If you joined CUSJ and paid dues after January 1, 2015, your membership is valid for 2015/16. For everyone else, your membership renewal is due as of April 1.

If you are not a person who pays on line, copy the form on the above linked membership page and send it with your cheque, payable to CUSJ, to Bob Staveley, Treasurer, CUSJ, P.O. Box 40011, Ottawa, Ontario, K1V 0W8 (treasurer@cusj.org).
What if the worst happens and the live stream goes down?
If the internet connection is briefly interrupted the live stream should resume. Don’t worry.
If there is prolonged downtime the live stream URL may change. If this occurs we will send out the new URL by means of an email to all who have registered to attend the AGM online. The new URL will also go out on the CUSJ listserve, Facebook page and website.

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE AGM AND WHEN?
Monday, May 18
- 8:30 am – Registration, Coffee, Meet & Greet
- 9:00 am – Chapter Conversations:
- With CRA focusing on activist organizations CUSJ is more important than ever. We don’t owe them a cent. What about CUSJ Chapters? Is there a role for chapters in our movement? We will discuss clarifying our chapter guidelines to make the relationship between CUSJ chapters and Congregational Social Responsibility Chapters more clear, and will discuss the relationship between CUSJ and the CUC and with Congregations which have charitable status.
- 10:00 am – AGM
- 11:00 am – Keynote Speaker: Bruce Campbell: The Silencing of Dissent And Its Impact on Canadian Democracy followed by questions and comments from the floor.
- 12:15 pm – Lunch at Chances Restaurant (1365 Woodroffe, in the mall across the street) for those who wish to stay.
