JOIN THE PEACE TRAIN:

AN INTERGENERATIONAL JOURNEY OF LOVE AND JUSTICE

Do we resolve our conflicts at home, at school, at work, or around the world with violence, or do we choose peace? Janis Alton and Melissa Weale, Unitarian members of the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace will introduce us to VOW. The Peace Train workshop is intergenerational, because peace makers can be any age!

We will talk about what actions we can take in our own lives to cultivate peace.

  • What can we do as individuals to create more peace in the world?
  • How can we involve more women and youth in peacemaking?

There are many paths to peace, including the arts. Margaret Rao, President of CUSJ, will lead us in a circle dance to an anti-war song for the ages, ‘Peace Train’.

What are you waiting for? All Aboard the Peace Train!
